Business Assurance Manager Full time, Permanent Position.

Ark Housing Association based in Belfast is a progressive Housing Association with ambitious plans for growth over the next five years. We are seeking to recruit an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our organisation as Business Assurance Manager. This is a strategic and hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives on embedding best practice, driving continuous improvement, and influencing senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director of Finance & Corporate Services, the successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of all business assurance and corporate services to the Association, overseeing risk frameworks, data protection, equality and diversity, leading assurance reviews, and ensuring governance compliance across the organisation.

The successful candidate is likely to:

  • Have a degree-level qualification in a relevant business discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Governance, Compliance, Finance, Risk Management, Auditing).
  • Have a minimum of three years post qualification experience in as similar role.
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks and corporate compliance requirements. 
  • Strong working knowledge of data protection legislation

Additionally, the successful candidate should possess excellent level of IT literacy with extensive experience in the use of a wide range of Microsoft Office products and must also have effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
