Ark Tenant Conference 2026: Your Home, Your Voice
Ark Housing was proud to host the 2026 Tenant Conference, bringing together tenants, staff, and community partners for a day centred on the theme Your Home, Your Voice.
The event provided an important opportunity to listen, share experiences, and work collaboratively to improve homes, services, and communities. Tenant feedback remains at the heart of everything Ark Housing does, and this conference offered a valuable space for open conversation and meaningful engagement.
Throughout the day, tenants had the chance to connect with a wide range of community partners. A variety of stalls showcased essential support services available across the community, helping tenants access valuable resources while strengthening local networks and connections.
The conference also featured an address from Ark Housing’s Chief Executive, who highlighted the importance of tenant engagement and encouraged everyone in attendance to continue sharing their views. This message reinforced Ark’s commitment to working in partnership with tenants to shape future services.
A key focus of the day was the series of interactive table workshops, introduced by the Community Investment Manager. These sessions were designed to gather insight and feedback directly from tenants, ensuring their experiences help drive improvements.
The Maintenance and Repairs workshop explored how homes are cared for, capturing tenant experiences and identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and future investment.
The Safety in the Home and Community workshop focused on understanding how safe tenants feel in their homes and neighbourhoods, and how Ark Housing can help strengthen that sense of security and wellbeing.
The Communication and Tenant Engagement workshop examined how tenants receive information, interact with services, and how communication can be made more accessible, inclusive, and effective.
Each workshop provided valuable insights that will play a key role in shaping and enhancing Ark Housing’s services going forward.
The day concluded on a high note with a celebration of culture and community. Tenants enjoyed vibrant performances from the South Asian Dance Academy, alongside traditional Irish music from Séamas Ó Labhradha, creating a warm and uplifting end to the event.
