Ballygawley 3

As one of Northern Ireland’s most rapidly developing housing associations, Ark Housing continues to expand its housing stock through the delivery of high‑quality, much‑needed homes. Guided by the organisation’s strategic five‑year plan, Ark is firmly on course to increase its housing portfolio to 1,300 homes by 2027.

Delivering Much‑Needed Homes in County Tyrone

This exciting development in Dungannon will deliver 45 new homes, helping to address local housing need across the area. The scheme reflects Ark’s commitment to providing homes that support a range of family sizes and household compositions.

The development will include:

23 two‑bedroom houses designed for three‑person households

8 three‑bedroom houses suitable for five‑person households

3 four‑bedroom houses designed for six‑person households

Progress on Site

Construction work on the Ballygawley Road site is progressing well, with building works being managed by Orchard County Contracts. The development currently has an estimated completion date of Spring 2027.

As with all housing developments, completion timelines can be subject to change due to the involvement of multiple agencies, departments, and safety requirements that must be satisfied before homes can be handed over. Ark Housing remains committed to keeping the public informed as construction progresses.

Looking Ahead

The Ballygawley Road development represents another significant milestone in Ark Housing’s ambitious development programme, supporting sustainable communities and expanding access to quality social housing across Northern Ireland.
