Conor House Community Raises £345 for Macmillan Cancer Support
Tenants, staff, and members of the wider community came together recently at Conor House to support a worthy cause, raising an impressive £345 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The fundraising event centred around a community coffee morning, which provided an opportunity for people to meet, chat, and enjoy a selection of delicious homemade and shop-bought treats. Many attendees contributed by baking buns and cakes, while others purchased refreshments to donate to the event.
Adding to the success of the morning, tenants at Conor House organised a raffle, with generous support from those attending. The combined efforts of everyone involved helped raise a fantastic total of £345, which will now be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support to help the charity continue its vital work supporting people living with cancer and their families.
