Roseville House Homeless Family Centre is directly owned and since April 2003 support services have been directly managed by Ark Housing. Ark Housing are unique in being the only housing association carrying out this direct service in Northern Ireland.
Accommodation at Roseville House comprises of 24 self contained apartments.
• 8 three bedroom 5 person apartments
• 16 two bedroom 3 person apartments
Two apartments have been designed to full wheelchair mobility standard for those with disabilities.
All apartments are fully furnished. Kitchens have all appliances and equipment needed to prepare meals and bedrooms are provided with full bed linen for comfort and convenience.
Our ultimate aim is to ensure that service users obtain a permanent home as soon as possible. A Housing Support Officer is assigned to each family and they carryout with the service user an assessment of their support needs and formulate an action plan to meet these needs. The housing support staff will support and advise and will sign-post to other professional agencies if and when required. The assessment is flexible and will allow for regular periods of review of needs and actions as required.
We aim to provide support through regular contact, encourage independence and support families to be ready for when they move to their new home in the community.
We also offer a Resettlement/floating support service to families. When accommodation is obtained and service users move to their new home, we can continue to support them in developing and maintaining independence in the community.
