Public Health Agency – Northern Ireland

The advice is that the spread of COVID-19 is most likely to happen when there is close contact (within 2 metres) with an infected person.  It is also possible that someone may become infected by touching a surface, object or the hand of an infected person.  The current information states that the virus does not survive on surfaces for more than 72 hours.  Regular cleaning of frequently touched surfaces and hands will help reduce the risk of infection.

The possible symptoms of COVID-19 may include:

  • Persistent Cough
  • Difficulty Breathing
  • Fever

If you are worried about your symptoms or those of a family member, we would advise that you call NHS 111 or 999 and they will provide you with further information on what the next steps are.

If you or a family member has received confirmation that you have COVID-19 or have been advised to self-isolate, please telephone our Head Office on 028 9075 2310 or email us on so that alternative arrangements can be made by staff who can rearrange planned visits.
