A pet will usually be allowed to move in with you when you take up your tenancy, but you should have written permission prior to moving in. This also applies if you are replacing an existing pet.
However, if you live in a sheltered scheme you are not allowed any pets.
You do not require written permission from the Association to keep caged birds or small fish in tanks. Dangerous pets will not be allowed.
It is your responsibility to keep a current licence for your pet, where applicable, and to ensure that no nuisance is caused to your neighbours.
