Lodgers and succession

Lodgers – you may take in lodgers provided that this does not cause overcrowding. Your letter of offer indicated the number of people that your home is designed to accommodate. If you require further information, please contact the office (or the Scheme Supervisor if you live in sheltered accommodation). A lodger will be treated as a member of your household under the terms of your tenancy. You should notify us if you take in a lodger and you must also advise the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, Housing Benefit Section that you have taken in lodgers if you are in receipt of housing benefit.
