Falls in the home

To help prevent a fall in the home the following simple rules should be noted:
• Do not polish under carpets or rugs • Make sure stairs and landings are well lit and kept clear • Wipe up spills on the floor immediately • Keep floor surfaces in good repair • Do not store goods at high levels, particularly on top of cupboards
